In a situation where misunderstanding and deep emotions are involved, conflict may seem inevitable. For example, more and more employees find their workplaces to be highly stressful. Our current work culture is fast paced and complex. Having to be responsive to work anytime, anywhere with email, texts etc can be extremely stressful and lead to workplace conflict. We can experience conflict at work, at school and at home. But there are a series of practical steps that can be taken to help you and the people involved in your dispute, move closer to resolution with less discomfort. Whether that is conflict coaching to help you resolve things yourself or more formal facilitation or mediation, you can work through your issues and come to a better understanding. You can learn skills to improve your team’s communication, reduce conflict or improve communication through training to improve the overall work place environment.
